Web analysis

Google Analytics

Google Analytics
Pursuant to our legitimate interest (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimisation and efficient operation of our website as defined by Art. 6(1) lit. f. of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO)) we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC (‘Google’). Google uses cookies. The information about users’ use of the website generated by the cookie will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Framework, and thus guarantees to comply with European data protection legislation (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
Google will use this information on our instruction to evaluate the users’ use of our website, compile reports about activities within this website and to provide us with further services associated with the use of this website and internet usage. This may involve creating pseudonym usage profiles for users based on the data processed.
We use Google Analytics only with IP anonymisation activated. This means that Google will truncate the user’s IP address within the member states of the European Union or other members of the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
The IP address that the user’s browser transmits will not be associated with any other data held by Google. Users can stop cookies from saving data via the respective setting in their browser software; users can also prevent the capture of data created by the cookie and prevent data in relation to their use of the website from being transmitted to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
